Larry Kirby

Larry ” The Kirb” Kirby hails from New Bedford, MA and has been playing guitar for most of his life. He’s a high energy rocker who is happiest when on stage.  From the early days playing with bands in Southern New England to joining Jack’d Up shortly after arriving in southwest Florida,  is always been about the rock. 

Early influences include Clapton, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Tommy Iommi, Joe Walsh among many others. He began playing in bands in his late teens and continued through the present. In the early eighties, spent a couple years performing original music. He fully embraces the digital world and plays his vintage Les Paul and Stratocaster through a Roland guitar synthesizer and Fractal guitar processor.  He’s a perfect fit for the style Jack’d Up portrays in their live shows.
