Kurt Kiehnle

Founder & Bass Player

Kurt Kiehnle aka K Rock is the band’s founder & bass player. Born & raised in New Rochelle, NY in the 70’s, K Rock fell in love with all the great rock n roll he heard on the radio and from his sister’s stereos. “I would sneak into their bedrooms and listen to their vinyl every chance I got.” That music is better known today as Classic Rock. K Rock’s early musical influences include Cream, Zeppelin, Clapton, The Who, The Stones. “I picked up the bass senior year of Highschool as our band’s bass player quit and I was the lead singer at the time”. After years of performing with highschool friends in a local rock cover band (Hold The Mayo band) K Rock put his music career on hold as he started a sales & marketing career in the Media Industry. I lived in NYC, Chicago, L.A., Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale and I saw a lot of live music – both national acts and local cover bands and I studied their style, sound, marketing etc. I realized what I wanted my future cover band to be”.

Today you will find K Rock at various SWFL venues performing live music

I am so proud of what we have achieved so far.  So many wonderful people we’ve met.
